Combine Monitor

This has been sitting as a draft since way back at harvest time. It’s not timely; but I’m tired of it being a draft, don’t want to just delete it, and don’t want to compose anything that requires more thought.

The map on this picture shows what GPS does for a farmer. The green circle is where he is currently in the field. The colored parts are where he has already picked.

The monitor also shows what the yield is for everywhere he has picked. This field was hailed on, so the yields aren’t as good as they can be with irrigated land in this part of the world. You can also see the moisture of the corn and some other stuff. I’m constantly staring at it when I’m a combine passenger.
