Here Today, Gone Tomorrow


Brad took those pictures in November of last year. It doesn’t take a lot of driving in the country to see old, abandoned houses and buildings. It usually makes me wonder what the people thought of their home when they lived in it. Did they think it was really nice? Were they proud of it? Did they ever consider it would look like it a stiff wind would knock it over or that wild animals would find shelter in it? Did they ever think it would be pushed into a big hole so a farmer could plant crops where it used to stand?

That’s a picture of the same place taken last Sunday. Sure puts a perspective on “stuff.”
