We were on a walk last week and ran into Brad’s brother filling up his new-to-him tractor. Before he started, it was low enough on fuel to warrant beeping at him. When he was finished the meter looked like this: He had already hit $300 once, so filling up his tractor cost him $557.44. Many farmers have a gas tank in their yard, so they don’t actually see the numbers when they fill up. I think I’d prefer it that way if I were them.
I asked Brad’s brother when he’ll have to fill it again, and he didn’t know. I hope it won’t be soon.
