Apparently sledding is a broader term than I realized. I told someone we were going sledding, and they asked if we were going on a hill or behind a 4-wheeler. I now no longer assume that sledding means going down a hill as fast as you can.
We experienced the 4-wheeler kind of sledding this week. I think the high temperature that day might have been 18 degrees, but we actually stayed outside longer than it took us to bundle up to go outside. Wyatt enjoyed it, the dogs and horses were entertained, and Elliana was only good for one ride. The falling off the sled when it went over a pile of something left in the field was more excitement than she could handle.
