YOU Have COWS?!

Brad was the designated childcare provider today. He took the kids with him to help his brothers tear down an old house (someday soon I’ll show you pictures). While they were driving, they passed some cows grazing on corn stalks.

Elliana asks Brad, “Whose cows are those?”

Brad answers, “They’re Uncle Darin’s…and some of them are mine.”

She was shocked! “YOU have COWS?!  I didn’t know we had COWS!”

Considering we don’t have a lot of cows and pay someone else to take care of them, I guess I wouldn’t have known we had cows either if I were her.

Speaking of Elliana, here are a few pictures from Brad’s photo shoot before church on Sunday.

And one more Elliana comment for you. It’s not word for word but you get the general idea.

Very seriously Elliana tells me at supper, “Mom, the girl deer Daddy shot is meat right now. The guy Daddy took it to turned it into meat.”

Brad was glad for the reminder that the butcher had called today. She doesn’t miss much.
