Wicked Hail

We went for a country drive tonight to check out the damage from the storm today. It was shocking. We aren’t raising corn right now, but all of Brad’s brothers had major damage to their corn. It’s quite sad, especially when you think of all the hours they spent to get it to where it was before this.

Hail + STRONG wind = completely knocked over corn stalks

From hail, not a raccoon

A few stalks are still as tall as they were this morning.

Brad sporting his cut off shirt for you. Proof he's a full supporter of this blog.

Only as tall as his knees!

It was getting dark, but we wanted to have a picture to show you how tall corn is supposed to be. This is actually a low spot in the field too.

If you didn’t notice it on any of the other pictures here’s a picture of the sky for you.
